We know you as a guitarist; do you play any other instruments?
yeah I played drums for a few years

Even though you have set your career as a guitarist, do you have a preference to the other instrument?
No I don’t really play them any more guitar is the only thing I really have an interest in.

Have you always developed yourself for a career in the music industry or did you have another set path?
No I started playing at a young age and it’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do.

People could say you are very lucky to have your experiences and still progressing, do you believe in luck?
Yes but to a certain extent but I believe it comes down to hard work.

What words of wisdom can you give to those who need a push in the right direction?
Just play as much as you can! You can tell when a band’s done the work and keep improving as a musician and an artist

If you could describe yourself as a food, what would it be?
A tasty fine rare steak!

Tell me a secret about you that is unexpected?
I don’t think I have any secrets really.

Which venue you’ve played in has stood out from the rest and why?
Shepherds Bush Empire as it’s such a legendary venue I even got to see Johnny Winter there before he died. I then had the fantastic chance to play there as support to Blackberry Smoke and it was a great experience!

Which venue are you aspiring to perform in?
I would say a packed Brixton Academy as I saw my first concert there and it’s such a great room with a great atmosphere.

Last Halloween I dressed up as a female beetlejuice, have you ever dressed up for Halloween?
Nope, not my thing.

What was your last outfit?
Never done and probably never will but if I was going to dress up it would have to be as scary Les Paul guitar 🙂

Would you ever wear something bizarre for a performance or photo shoot?
Don’t know but I guess I have all those things in front of me!

Name two inspirations of yours and why?
Muddy Waters because he’s the first blues man I ever heard and really got into. Blackfoot as they’re one of the first bands I ever heard that made me want to start playing music.

What are your plans for the next year?
We got some great festivals coming up and I’ll be playing at Dot To Dot, Download and Ramblin Man. We’re also going to start recording end of the summer and look to have a debut album release in early 2016.

What do you picture for yourself in five years?
Hopefully still recording and performing. That’s all I’ve ever really wanted to do.
