Best of Freeze 2010

1

Like most festivals, Freeze didn’t really get going until later in the day. I think with it being in the city with no-one camping, people must have been turning up after work or something, either way, when it filled out, the atmosphere came with the crowds.

The ramp was insane, even more so with the location. Watching the world’s best riders pulling skills in the air against the backdrop of the iconic Battersey power station was awesome, something I’m going to remember for a long time to come.

The highlights by far had to be the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, the boys from Mountain Biking uk doing their thing – Martyn Ashton has to be the very best trails rider there is – and Natty playing the Relentless Stage. Natty had the place packed out, such a mellow atmosphere. He played most of his first album and some tracks from his soon to be released second album.

I could go on gushing about the weekend but I’m gonna leave you with these images, make your own mind up.
