Rogue Mag Music - Creature With The Atom Brain - 'The Birds Fly Low' album review

Creature With The Atom Brain had enough time to perfect their psychedelic rock sound, which is exactly what they’ve done A hint of stoner, moody themes and trippy elements makes The Birds Fly Low an album to behold. Hailing from Belgium, Creature With The Atom Brain have remained true to their musical convictions. It might have cost them airtime but it has earned them the respect of the music press and and outstanding album.

Creature aren’t afraid to experiment with brass instruments, layered vocals and wandering riffs ready to trip you along with their dark ride. The Birds Fly Low isn’t pretty, but it is seductive and timeless. Without a doubt this is Creature’s best album to date. Strong throughout, you’re reminded of the underground sound of the Truck Fighters and the rolling bass lines of Queens Of The Stone Age, with whom they’ve toured.
