London’s biggest winter skateboard event, The Crossfire Xmas Jam returns this December to London’s Bay Sixty 6 Skatepark. The UK’s longest serving annual skateboard jam is now in its 9th year and confirmed to take place on Saturday 10th December at Bay 66 Skatepark in association with Slam City Skates, Plan B, Flip and Superdead Skateboards.
From 1pm, unsponsored skateboarders will be the main focus as they battle it out in best trick comps to win vouchers from London’s longest serving skateboard shop, Slam City Skates. Over the years, many young skateboarders have made their mark at this prestigious event in the UK skateboard calendar and picked up sponsorship from this 90 minute session which usually showcases some surprises. Expect plenty more of that this year as the upcomers are giving the pro’s a run for their money these days.
From 2.30pm, the street course at Bay Sixty 6 Skatepark in Ladbroke Grove will be awash with the crème of the UK’s best pro skateboarders, all jamming best trick comps for cash on the day. This year the competitions have been funded by Flip, Superdead and Plan B Skateboards and will include a wall ride comp, best flatland manual rolls and a comp for the best rail slides. The annual mini ramp comp will then kick off at 5pm for an hour with the best transition skateboarding this year before the traditional product toss ends the day at 6pm courtesy of Heroin, Death, Drawing Boards, Science, Crayon, Kill City, Lovenskate and Blueprint Skateboards.

Crossfire Xmas Jam Party
Following the success of this year’s Crossfire Halloween Massacre that saw 800 people dressed up to the eyeballs partying the night away, the annual Xmas Jam after party will be held at Mau Mau Bar at 265 Portobello Road, W11 1LR. Expect a set from the Crossfire Sound System DJ’s and special guests, plus a UK skateboard video premiere of the ROOKIES DVD from Kill City Skateboards on the big screen from 8pm -2am.
