I can’t fault the build quality of these flip flops, they’re rugged and they look and feel like they’re built to last.
There in lies the problem. These flip flops are simply too rigid. The strap that comes over the bridge of your foot has no give in it and there’s a ridge that rubs as you walk. I think if the sole was more flexible this might not be a problem but the idea of wearing them for long enough to find out isn’t that appealing.
The attention to detail and quality of materials used is great. Suede, metal, EVA cusioning for comfort underfoot and a unique honeycomb moulding on the sole which offers excellent grip.
I really want to like these flip flops. The styling is good, I really like the rough look to them and I’m sure they could stand up to a lot of abuse but the uncomfortable strap is an issue.

I know exactly what you mean. When I first put these on 2-3 days ago the top strap was just to solid and uncomfortable. I was and still am detirmined to make the most of them so began wearing them alot and already feel like the material is loosening. I think these just need a bit of wearing in like a good pair of walking boots. Time will tell.
I found a way of loosening up the sole, flex and bend the shoe in half, you should hear the cords in the sole snapping, keep flexing it until there’s no more cracking. That should relieve the tension that keeps the strap so rigid. It seems the sole is the issue rather than the strap, not enough ‘give’ with the fabric re-enforcing the rubber.

These are the best and most comfortable pair of flip flops i have ever owned. They have lasted me well and i wear them everyday from about the end of march to the end of september. This has been the case for four years now. They have finally started to wear out now and i am looking at a replacement pair.
It is true that the rib over the to does wear at first. I found innitially i had to bed them in. Once this is done though they are perfect.
Would definately recommend them to all………….!!!
Ive had several pairs of Cusche Manuka Wrap over the last 7 years, Iam now looking for another pair, a bit of breaking in and they are the most comfortable hard wearing sandal you will find!
