You’re probably not aware of it but chances are you’re already familiar with Emeli Sande’s music. One of the brightest artists on the scene right now, Sande has been writing tracks of other artists for a while now including Tinie Tempah (Let Go), Professor Green (Kids That Love To Dance), Wiley (Never be That Woman), Susan Boyle, Cheryl Cole and the Saturdays.
Hailing from Scotland with a father from Zambia and her mother coming from Cumbria, Emeli Sande is not to be compared to other artists. Her refeshingly clear and soulful voice stands a cut above the rest. Sande avoided signing to a record deal early on, opting instead to study medicine in Glasgow then move to London to write and do things on her own terms.
