Iconic US rock titans Jane’s Addiction have just made the video for their brand new track ‘End To The Lies’ available. Featuring flashing images, fast-cut animation, graffiti and nudity it’s a dazzling, psychedelic feast for the eyes.
Jane’s Addiction are also being honoured today by being inducted into Hollywood’s RockWalk. Band members Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins will attend the special ceremony at Guitar Center Hollywood, 7425 West Sunset Blvd, with Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello giving the induction speech.
Jane’s Addiction’s handprints will reside alongside the handprints, signatures, and faces of other accomplished musicians and innovators including Elvis Presley, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Run-D.M.C, Iron Maiden and Queen among numerous others.
Forming in 1985 in L.A, Jane’s Addiction have been firmly embedded in the collective pop culture consciousness for 25 years now. The hugely influential Los Angeles-based band have written the rule book for alternative music and culture through a combination of genre-defying classic songs and a cinematic live experience, selling millions of records around the world in the process.
Their brand new studio album ‘The Great Escape Artist’ will be released worldwide in the Autumn. The first taster for UK fans will be when Jane’s Addiction headline the NME/Radio 1 stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals in August.
