Rogue Mag Surf King of the groms kicks off at Fistral

It all kicks off tomorrow with the King of the Groms European final. The series has been running since April all over Europe, and now the top 2 names from each KOTG stop are invited to compete in Newquay. It’s going to be a competitive fight for both the European crown and an invite to the international final. Talented Groms from all over will be showing their skills and, as previous winners confirm, it looks to highlight the up and coming talents in the surf world.

Following this, from Saturday the 27th, the Quiksilver Pro Junior will take place. A 4* ASP junior event, where 96 of the worlds best under-21 surfers will come to Fistral beach in hope of a share of the $20k prize packet. Brit riders, Toby Donachie and Luke Dillon will be eyeing up the prize but are up against top European riders such as Leo Fioravanti (Italy) and Dimitri Ouvré (France).

Not only world class surfing to keep you interested all weekend, we have lined up bands and parties for some evening entertainment, with music from ‘Auction for the Promise Club‘ and ‘The Last Gentleman‘.

Finally, SAS will be around for the weekend, giving spectators and surfers the chance to find out about their latest campaigns, sign up for membership or participate in the beach clean. There will be more exciting developments as it gets closer to the event, so for all updates, rider info and more you can check out our facebook page:
