Lift Foils are breaking new ground with their aerofoil/surfboard hybrid, the eFoil.
Powered by a silent electric motor, the rider flies over the water on a short board whilst the motor and hydrofoil do all the work below. Apparently it takes a little getting used to, but with a bit of practice, you will be gliding over the water like a surfing Aladdin!
The eFoil hasn’t isn’t available quite yet but you can reserve yours via their website (link below). $12,000 might be a little steep to start with, but if this tech takes off (pun totally intended), the price is sure to come down. The only downside we can see is popular lineups getting filled with these hover boards, but it’s a small price to pay for such a cool toy!
