Mark Ronson confirmed to headline at Freeze Festival

Mark Ronson has been confirmed to headline at Freeze Festival 2010 at Batteresy Power station, London.  New Young Pony Club and I Blame Coco are also set to play at the UKs biggest winter sports festival.  Other announced acts include Roni Size, Bedouin Soundclash and Skindred on the bill for the weekend. Further acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Freeze Festival (formerly London Freeze) will run from the 29th to the 31st of October. The event will also see the world’s best skiers and snowboarders competing on the specially erected 100m long, 32m high real snow ramp, which for three days becomes an iconic site across London. The riders throw themselves off the huge jump performing their best tricks for World ranking points and a share of the prize purse Over the last two years, Olympic medalists Danny Kass, Peetu Piiroinen, Scotty Lago have battled it out with the best of the Brits beneath the iconic Battersea Power Station towers.

Tickets are priced at £36 for a day pass, £86 for a season pass (3 days), with a child’s day ticket at £15 and a child’s season ticket at £35.

Head straight from the office to the slope with the Friday ‘After Work Ticket’ offering access to the Freeze Festival for only £20 from 6.30pm. Festival goers can catch the Best of Britain ski and board finals as well as top acts across all three stages. Only available on Friday.
