Alex Metric and Steve Angello’s massive dance track “Open Your Eyes”, featuring the vocal talents of indie legend Ian Brown, will be released on 8th May 2011 through Positiva/Virgin Records.
This track has already had a massive response, Pete Tong saying the track is so big it needs its own festival and a flood of texts and emails to Zane Lowe and Annie Mac whenever they ripped it out.
The instrumental was released via BeatPort at the end of January and has been tearing up the dance scene ever since.
The single will also feature remixes from Third Party, Tim Manson, and coming soon, a remix from Style of Eye.
Alex Metric will release an album, also entitled ‘Open Your Eyes’, later in the summer and will feature original material, remixes and productions.
