This year, Quiksilver’s King of the Groms contest is going to be 100% digital. Open to all under 16 surfers, groms have until 30th June to upload a 1minute 30second video of themselves showing off their best tricks.
From 1st – 31st July, the videos will be published on the Quiksilver site and the public will have the chance to vote for their favourite. It’s a chance for those who have entered to get all their friends and family to vote for them.
Quiksilver’s pro surf judging panel, which will include Kelly Slater, Travis Logie and Dane Reynolds, will then choose their top 15 finalists who will be invited to surf with the pros at the International Final during the Quiksilver Pro France (taking place 26th September – 8th October, Hossegor, France).
