July 14th, this Summer’s BIGGEST Dancefloor – 9 hours, 60,000 people

It is confirmed that SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA will play their LAST EVER UK GIG at MILTON KEYNES BOWL on JULY 14TH 2012. The final leg of the tour will be announced in August but will NOT contain any UK shows.

The ‘One Night Stand’ show which promises to be the Summer’s Biggest Dancefloor with over 9 hours of music will mark the beginning of an emotional and glorious farewell from the three DJ producers, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The boys will continue to make music together but as a live spectacle this will be the last chance to see them play as Swedish House Mafia in the UK.

The band released the following statement via their website confirming that their forthcoming run of dates as a collective will be their last.
Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.
Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso

The Milton Keynes Bowl show will be the largest DJ headline show in the world which is a first, joining an enviable list of music legends that have headlined the event, including Oasis, Green Day, Metallica, Eminem and Foo Fighters. Joining the celebrations will be platinum-selling superstar Example, DJ producer of the moment Calvin Harris plus legendary DJ Pete Tong, 17 year old pop/house producer whiz kid Madeon and fellow Swede Alesso. This will see them and make history when they became the first dance act to have headlined both Madison Square Garden and Milton Keynes Bowl.
