It has to be said, there’s not a huge amount of women’s biking gear out there. Fortunately Alpinestars have announced some a new jacket and boots for this season.
Stella T-Dyno Air Jacket (suggested retail price – € 179.95 Euro / £ 149.95 Sterling)
The Stella T-Dyno Air Jacket draws style cues from Alpinestars’ iconic Dyno leather jacket and is exclusively cut and sized for women. The durable 600 Denier polyester construction features mesh inserts to keep you cool and comfortable.
Mille Shoes (suggested retail price – € 119.95 Euro / £ 119.95 Sterling)
Alpinestars’ Mille is a full-length riding shoe constructed from breathable, water resistant suede. The Mille offers an offset speed lace system and a flexible rubber sole that affords comfortable use on and off the bike. The inclusion of a pad to protect the suede if you get your toe down is a good but we’re not convinced it would hold up to much sliding. Despite that minor issue, We’re a big fan of these boots.
