Despite increasing the capacity to 300 people a day, two of the four race days are already close to being sold out for the Hospitality and VIP programme for the 2011 TT Races, fuelled by Monster Energy.
As expected the climax of the meeting on Friday 10th June, featuring the ‘Milestones of the Mountain’ and Yamaha Classic Race Team parade lap, as well as the Blue Riband PokerStars Senior TT Race have proved popular with fans and companies eager to sample the ‘behind the scenes’ action.
However, the Race Day on Wednesday 8th June, which features a packed schedule including the Monster Energy Superport 2 Race and the Sure Sidecar 2 Race as well as an Arai Parade lap featuring MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden and former five- time World Champion Mick Doohan have also sold well with only a handful of places left.
Although there is still availability for the first Race day – Saturday’s Dainese Superbike Race and the Sure Sidecar Race 1 – and Race Day 2 on Monday 6th June which features the Monster Energy Supersport 1 and Royal London 360 Superstock Races, organisers have encouraged fans to sign up quickly as both are also expected to sell out.
Fans buying hospitality tickets will get the chance to rub shoulders with the VIP guests booked to attend. Guests on Saturday 4th June include 14 time sidecar champion Dave Molyneux, 2004 World Superbike Champion James Toseland, fellow World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty – whose 1992 Senior TT battle with Steve Hislop was voted the TT’s greatest Race recently and five time 2010 TT champion Ian Hutchinson.
Monday 6th will see World Superbike Star Johnny Rea, Prodigy front Man Keith Flint, ‘Long Way Round’ TV star Charley Boorman and three time World Enduro champion David Knight entertaining guests and signing autographs. Wednesday’s line up includes Motorsport legend Murray Walker, Australian champion Mick Doohan, MotoGP stars Cal Crutchlow and Nicky Hayden, six-time TT champion Geoff Duke, Rally star David Higgings, ahead of his closed road demonstration lap on Friday 10th June, David Knight and Ian Hutchinson.
Murray Walker, Mick Doohan, Geoff Duke, Italian legend and 15-time world Champion Giacomo Agostini, 7-time World Champion Phil Read, David Knight, Ian Hutchinson and David Higgins are the confirmed guests for Friday 10th June.
The all-inclusive packages also include guaranteed Grandstand seating, complimentary bar open during licensing hours, breakfast and hot and cold gourmet lunch as well as a TT gift pack featuring TT merchandise, a programme and race guide and an ear-piece radio to follow the action via Radio TT. Fans will also get to hear the thoughts from the top three riders from each of that day’s races, shortly after they have finished the race.
