France’s Team Quiksilver surfer Jérémy Florès, the current world n°9 and top European in the ASP World Tour rankings, has announced his withdrawal from the Quiksilver Pro France. After injuring his right ankle during his heat with Kai Otton (which the Frenchman won), Jérémy underwent a series of examinations, and a scan yesterday (Monday) revealed ligament damage. Jérémy will therefore take no part in the 4th or 5th rounds of the Quiksilver Pro France. His aim now is to get back to full fitness in time for the Peniche event in Portugal, and retain his place in the ASP world top 10 in 2011.
