The only festival that combines music, sport and art, NASS returns to the West Bath & County Showground 5-7th July, for a weekend packed full of live and DJ performances, amateur and professional BMX and skate competitions and street art from celebrated artists from near and far. If you’re heading down, be sure not to miss these….
1. Brand new stage in collaboration with Old Blue Last Beer, The Lock. A late night venue where revellers can finish their evenings in true NASS style with music from Mike Skinner, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Jungle Brothers and Noisey Karaoke which will run throughout the weekend.
2. Street art throughout the festival site courtesy of Upfest. The UK’s leading street art festival partners with NASS once again to provide murals representing artists from near and far. Earlier this year, Jody Art was commissioned to create a piece in Bristol of the legendary Damian Jr. Gong Marley who tops the bill on Sunday.
3. The festival will deliver and impressive array of rap talent from both sides of the pond; Run DMC, Vic Mensa, Bugzy Malone, Stefflon Don, Flohio, Rude Kid and Ocean Wisdom.
4. Sports competitions. This year will see some of the best pros and amateurs from around the globe battle it out across BMX Park, Vert, Street & Dirt and skate invitational & open competitions.
5. DJ & MC workshops. Soundwaves Records will be bringing their incredibly popular workshops back to the festival this year. You can expect an Infinite Soundsystem, state of the art DJ equipment and surprise guests throughout the weekend. They have an open mic policy so up and coming MCs have the opportunity to perform in front of up to 500 people!
