A former studio in a warehouse complex in LA, a shithole of a place. Shag pile carpets on the wall and whiskey stains on the floor, Sound City Studios were a far cry from the decadence expected in modern studios but what made this place legendary was the most important thing of all – the sound.
Sound City is Dave Grohl’s first film as Director which gathers some of rock’s greatest artists both to recount classic tales and to create new music exclusively for the film and it’s soundtrack.
