Has a band ever made you feel like putting on a helmet, picking up a sword, sailing the high seas in a long boat, and doing battle with a distant adversary? No? Well you haven’t listened to Amon Amarth then. Seriously, put this on your iPod and everyone in the street better get out of your way!
This is Amon Amarth playing Vicar Street in Dublin on the 12th of March – supported by Grand Magus and In Solitude – touring their new Sutur Rising album. The band always make a point of telling the audience how much they enjoy playing Dublin, and a glance around the crowd at any point during the show would confirm that Dublin enjoys having them.
